I dont allow the government to use my money for free all year, I have it planned so I break even. I would much rather use it throughout the year - spend it, invest it on what I want when I want....

No interest-free loans for the gubmint from me!

It costs you money to give that interest-free loan if it would otherwise accrue for you.

But, uh...in the spirit of the thread, if I do get a small return, I might grab some different color ABL LEDs.

Yes, that use to work somewhat back when you got 5% on you savings instead of the 0.25% you get now. Nowadays, that extra $100 or so a month would net you about $1.50 interest annually. I still try to keep the Fed under a grand though.

eh well you know, a lot of people have no choice, which you decided to not mention.

I want some long tube headers, but will probably use it for my excise tax and cc bills.

I get a huge refund every year..like over 10...its a forced savings for me. I was going to buy headers and zl1 rockers but i decided to take the coarse of being totally debt free (mortgage) in a few years so no fun stuff..

I might get the forza 3 way controller for the npp since thats not too expensive

i am assuming 10 grand?? if thats the case, and you are loaning the government that much money interest free, you may want to discuss that with an accountant.... just sayin...
