Just switched sides

I just posted goodbye to my 1le friends so I guess now it's time to introduce myself to my new group were I will be learning and question asking! Just rolled her off the showroom floor tonight....

Thanks everyone and yes I do want to sleep in it haha, if not for work tomorrow I would be out cruise'n now. I loved my 1le but this this seemed like it rode soooooo much better on my drive home.

Just make sure to break it in nicely if its brand new , so you get better performance later

Yes, the mag ride is one of the best features of the ZL1 that most people who don't drive them just don't get.

I'm glad you mention this. Can someone with performance /FI engine knowledge tell me the best way to break in my new zl1.....I have heard so many different opinions if someone with true knowledge could give me a few pointers I would greatly appreciate it!

I want to say, drive it like you stole it. But as Chevy recommends stay away from all out runs and keep it down to 75% or so. The big thing is to not to drive for long periods of time at the same speed. Go out and see some sights with your new beast, but take the back roads.

Another thing is the brake break in. If you are a manual, that kind of driving is also a good clutch break in.

There is a video on this. Chevy must know some thing about the car they built. More than us hackers.

After 2K of that you are on your own.
