Polished ZL1 Wheels

I know this look isn't for everyone, guess I'm old school. I like the polish look of the wheels on my CTS-V before trading it for my ZL1. I had a local company polish the ZL1 wheels to match the machine polish edges that comes stock. I'm very please with the look and thought I would share. I opted this look over chrome.

Are you going to seal them with anything or do you need to?

Now that is what I am talking about!!! I like it. If I could find some of those wheels that is exactly what I would do.

I'm old school too but as a DD the polished wheels were just too much work even with the ceramic pads, I bought some oem black ones for now. I miss the polished wheels, looks much better.

Here's some info most are looking for:

I took 'Alloy Wheel Repair' here in Phoenix the wheels off my car including tires. They dismounted the tires, prep'd the rims, polished them and applied a premium automotive clear coat. They then remounted balanced the tires all for $500 out the door, $125 each corner. Maintenance is just like factory; normal washing including wheel cleaner if you choose. They've only been on the car for a week but in appears brake dust isn't sticking as much as before, the jury is still out on that one. IMO this was a great deal with all they did. The recessed lines along each spoke and the ZL1 engraved logo I would think would have been a pain, but everything looks so uniform. I'm truly impressed with the work they did.

Nastacia and Phil where great to work with: PM for their number, I don't think I'm supposed to post it.

Now that makes those wheels look so much better than factory. Very nice and that sounds like an awesome deal also.

Did they also polish the entire inside of the wheel/barrel or just the outside? Looks great. Let us know how it sheds brake dust.
