Hood Vents / Rain trays...
So anyone in here remove their Hood vent rain trays during track or autocross events?
I hear it drops the engine bay temps 5-10 degrees.... Just curious.

Any down sides to taking it off? I wash my car twice a week, plus it's my daily driver so it will see rain.

Mine stays off except when I wash the car. Then I just hold it on with one rivet. Take it back off after washing. Car never see's rain, so that's nota problem. If it did, I would use the tray though because I like the engine clean too! LOL
