To those with Z/28 Garage Queens...
I just read a great article on James Glickenhaus, my automotive hero: READ IT HERE.
The article contains one of the best quotes I've read, concerning why you shouldn't park a car to ensure it remains valuable. To each his own, of course, but I love this guy's philosophy: A while ago I said, ‘Not putting miles on your Ferrari is like not having sex with your girlfriend, so she’ll be more desirable to her next boyfriend’ – and I still feel that way. Twenty-five- year-old Ferraris with 200 miles are total VOM.

I liked the closing..... "Enjoy the ride, don't worry about the destination"

I can tell you 100% he practices what he preaches .. I was behind him this morning for over an hour on the way up to limerock vintage fall festival .. he was driving his Ferrari P4 (with no roof on it !) They were calling for major rain (and rain it did) but, this did not deter him from driving the car ! (I bitched out & drove up our shop M4) ! |

Great quote indeed. It is such a waste to leave a car parked in the dark. I can't image buying a car just to let it sit for 30 or 40 years.

If I had the cash (which people who buy cars and let them sit obviously have) I'd buy all kinds of cars and let them sit in a garage just to watch the heads explode around me.
I appreciate those who drive and those who save. Without those guys holding on to thei4 cars how would we ever have awesome garage finds? The occasional double digit-mileage specimen, or museums?

I purchased mine in June with the expectation of tracking her. I've only been able to drive it a few times :-( 3 month and 100 miles, she looks pretty mind you....I guess as they say... next year.
