Unhappy with 2014 Camaro
If anyone who has not read my other posts since joining, I had a 2010 Camaro that was totaled. Thankfully I broke even with my loan and bought a white 2014. And I am very unhappy with it. My 2010 had the red rally stripes, so I got black for the new one and it does nothing for it at all. As crazy as this may sound, I'm really considering trading it for a 2015 in a different color or even going back to a 2013 or 2012. I hate the look of the lights in the back, the 2010 to 2013 ones looked so much sportier. I know it sounds ridiculous, but has anyone ever done that? I know I'm going to lose money, but I can't see paying for something I'm not happy with. I just don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated!!

Um, why did you buy it ? I also recall there ever being RED stripes as an option on the earlier models.

It was more like an orange/red stripe. I bought it because I felt rushed into it to be honest. I had no vehicle at the time and I never had anything but Camaros all my life. I should've waited and thought long and hard, but I didn't and I'm stuck.

White has a lot of possibilities, probably more so than any other color.Look around and see what others have done. The "15" model may be uglier than the "14".Not that I'm prejudiced but I wouldn't swap even money, for a "14"

Buyer's remorse is common..you can sell it but a loss is a loss and a tough pill to swallow. I dont like the rear of the 14's either. Maybe the 13 can be retrofitted on it however.

Thanks for the advice. I think that's the problem, I want to do something to make it look sportier, I just don't know what to do. I really was considering the rear window louvers but I don't know how hard they are to install. Any other suggestions? Would greatly appreciate it and any pics of things you've done to your car. I'm just very confused.

I perfer the 10-13 all around better also not sure why they went to changing things when they had it right to start with. Sorry you are not happy but you might want to see how much the rear end change will cost if it is possible and may come out cheaper.

I do have stripes on it already, the black rally stripes but it don't make much difference.

Dig around here. May find someone that likes the newer style willing to swap their older front/rear for yours

What kind of work would be involved with switching them to the 13 lights? Cause I don't know anyone that could do that kind of thing personally and I'm sure garages would cost an arm and a leg.
