Anyone regret getting stripes package?

I've been thinking lately, did I really need the stripe package on my SS? I've been looking at mods to do for my hood and spoiler, but choices seem limited to hex vents because of the stripes and most spoilers don't have the stripes with them. Just thought. Anyone else feel this way?

I think the car looks much cleaner without the stripes, and yes you have much more flexibility for mods without them. I do not like the vinyl stripes I think they look cheap, if I were going to have stripes, they would be painted and cleared!

I actually like them. But it has to fit with what you like. If you don't like them, remove them.

Your hockey stripes are perfect, they don't get in the way of hood mods. I have the stripe package similar to your black camaro on the far right in your signature

I have painted stripes, and there are days when I wish I did not. They look great, but if you want to try something else you are stuck.

I want to buy another hood, trunk and spoiler and get painted blue stripes. This way if I want I can put the stock ones back on. I really wanted the blue color. They didn't make it for 2012. Then 2013 came and we got hot wheels. The only car I would trade my car for. (Obviously ZL1 any color lol).

For a $470 option, you might as well get it done at a local shop and support local businesses. A reputable spot would use 3M or comparable vinyls. Plus it seems more Camaros have stripes than not? So by trying to be unique, you actually conform more?

It's a love hate relationship, some days I want a more aggressive looking hood. Especially when I look at my friends 2012 SRT8 Jeep.

i have a new black 2013 2 LT. i didnt want a car with stripes cause of the maintaince issue with them. they will eventually chip on ends, rock chips, try to wax around them, etc. they look nice when new. but i look at long term. and you can clear bra them, but if i got stripes, i would prefer painted. but you are stuck with the look. the stripes look really nice on a yellow car, but i like the clean look and to me just less maintaince and hassle. to each his own
