I've always liked the raised cowl hood, about an 1" high
for me but still looks real good! |

I love it, higher the cowl the better, I'm still waiting for somebody to make a 6 inch cowl to match my 71 and 88.

I actually traveled to Indianapolis from louisville to have him install it. Saved almost $200 in shipping charges. He charged me $850, 800 for hood and 50 for the install. The fit on the front nose was not so well, but he was able to sand alittle here and there and got it done. You can see in the pictures the perfectly spaced gaps all the way around!

This hood is actually functional, here are the pictures of the underside of the hood (typically would be black, but he ran out of black gel coat so its grey.)

Is it just me or is it kinda funky that they didn't paint the underside?

The whole thing is unpainted. Have an appointment to get it done.

Was considering matte black hood, but it'll be painted IOM!

Let me know how much the shop charges you to paint it if you don't mind. I'm thinking about saving some extra money to get mine redone after I go see Eric to make the fitment right.
