Just a FYI Classic Camaro of Central Florida have our monthly meeting Saturday August 20,2011 2pm over at David Maus Chevrolet following the meeting we will head over to downtown Winter Garden for the monthly cruise.

Also this month Saturday August 27, 2011 CCCF will hold our annual club summer BBQ (smoking ribs and chicken) all members and family welcome.

Anyone in the Central Florida area you are more than welcome to come on out to our club meeting and see what we are all about.

Sean...see you Saturday...Hopefully with the new car...Left Louisville KY for Jacksonville on Friday night...Not in FL as of this morning but --- fingers crossed for delivery this week!

We will be at the BBQ on the 27th...Will bring some type of dessert. We will CERTAINLY have the new car by then!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you talking about a vehicle order on CSX?.... mine took 5 days from KY... it REALLY slowed down when it hit ATL and JAX.

If I had to take a guess.... I would say you get the call the 18th...see you guys Sat

Actually got to Jax at 5:50 yesterday. Now I'm getting a strange status on CSX of "placed at industry" any idea what that means...as of 12:15 am today.

Means it is in CSX JUNCTION drop off in Orlando... you got lucky lol mine took forever.....

It should be at the Sanford drop or Taft in Downtown... it took my dealer about a full 24 hours after they received it to call me, they had to put their hands all over it.

...a lot of factors come into play now though. It all depends how long they take to load off the CSX rail... that could take hours..maybe even a day or two. Once unloaded onto a truck, they wait until it fills the trailer... after the trailer is completely full they do their rounds. If it is Monday. I think you should get it by Late Wed... Thursday if they cannot find a Semi trailer to pull you.

I can tell you, Ordering mine was at the best damn thing I ever did. The down side is it kinda tied my hands in getting my car well below MSRP..but I got there. They knew I didn't NEED the vehicle, that it was for pleasure..

Wait until you see how many miles the cars has on it when you get it.... daaaaamn that is a lovely sight.

If it hit TAFT it should be on the facility lot for no more than 18 hours that facility moves cars in and out ASAP if I was closer to Taft I would drive down and see if I could get some pics I did this for a few members in the past as well as track my car and truck

Its at Taft and unloaded! Hoping for a truck tomorrow!!!!! Maybe pick up Wednesday or Thursday depending on how long for the clear bra and window tint.

Saw a truck load of Chevy's heading up I-4 going past Longwood and what was on the back a Black SS vert (along with a few Chevy Cruize's and 2 Vetts) it could be yours.

Sean -- OMG you have no idea how I wish. I doubt it though, I did ask them to call me ASAP when it arrives. But who knows...I will definitely have it at the meeting one way or another. May have to go early to complete the paperwork!

How do you feel about that steering wheel vs your 2010? I actually love the wheel we have now... still wondering why the change.

I'll let you know once I drive the car. I just stopped by Maus on my way home from work today to see it and take a couple of pictures. Having the tint and clear bra done tomorrow and will pick it up after work. Most people I've heard from like it...I like the style and like that it is different from our 2010. I guess when you can have both it is the best of both worlds!
