Muffler for camaro v6 with the deepest, most aggressive rumble? and instal price?
any suggestions? I am not looking for the loudest. Straight pipes aren't the type of sound I like. I like it loud but as deep and rumbly as possible
Also what should I expect to pay for the install from a good place? I just bought this camaro less than 2 weeks ago. At the time that I bought it I thought I wanted to keep everything stock, but now I already have list of about 10 things I want to get done as soon as possible. Thanks! |

MRT-v2.0 ...
It's awesome sounding. Close second is Solo. But, you're not going to get "deep rumble" sorry. And who ever wants to start the you're a V8 guy bullshit.... save it. It's fact, you won't get a deep rumble from a 6... ever, period. That doesn't mean they don't sound good. It's just a different sound. |

@lolcamaro...in the end, you need to go with what you like the best & ignore everyone else's opinion...go to the v6 exhaust thread to listen to different setup videos here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33104 but if you can, hearing them in person is the best way to know for sure

OP, you can get a deep loud rumble with Long-tube headers and a good cat-back or axle-back exhaust. I personally like the MRT-2 and Solo for sound quality. The headers all sound pretty similar to me.

Hang me at the stake, but 1... and I mean one person had a decent sounding video (Video mind you, it may sound much different in person) of straight pipe from cutting the mufflers off, back, on the V6. I know very very few people are a fan of it... I personally wanted to take that route and see how it faired, before I splurged for the MRT v2.0.
To each his own, I guess. Cant find, or havent that is, found many southern NJ C5 goers. One must hunt.... >.> OP: MRT v2.0 seems to be the general consensus though... there are a few decent vids that do it justice... but itll never sound like how it is IRL. Cheers. |

Bro is looking into the Corsa catback system btw. We heard the Corsa through a set of long tubes a couple of weeks ago (fellow C5 forum member) and we we became huge fans of that set up on the LS3/L99 right away.

This is the MRT 2.0. Simply amazing. And like said before, its not a V8 sound, nor a ricey/ nasty V6. It sounds exotic.
Its deeper in real life than in this vid, but not by much.
