Problem with Filling Up
Hey guys, I have always had a problem with filling my car up since the day I got it. It has just never bothered me enough, but I want to figure it out. Whenever I go to fill my car up, I have to stand there the entire time when the gas is going in. I can't let go of the handle because it falls to an angle and it automatically stops pumping. I don't know if something is broken inside the gas filler or what, just wanted to know if any of you have experienced this. Thanks!

Ive had this problem to, it doesn't happen to me at every pump its kind of random at which ones it happens to me at.

Happened to me too, not every pump though. Not that I only go to Shell, since I've gotten the Camaro I haven't had a problem.

No, I have no mechanical problems filling up. I do have a financial problem though, which seems to get worse every week.

I've had this problem, however it isn't at every pump and all of the time. I usually have to stand there for a few after I put the pump in and make sure we are good to go before I let go .. sometimes it takes a few tries ..
I have seen other posts on this as well. Not sure if it is different type of pump handles and very small tolerances or what. Crowley

The problem is the pump design vs the Camaro's fuel intake. At some point you will find a pump that works great and you will mostly use that pump from then on.

how big is the gas tank supposed to be? 19 gallons? 16 gallons?
