Factory alarm is slow / delayed to arm

Usually I'm good at figuring out electrical issues, but I got one that stumped me. I still have my factory alarm / keyless entry and for some strange reason, I've noticed that the car is slow to respond when you activate the lock button on the remote. Is there anything that needs to be adjusted on the alarm / keyless entry brain? I'm going to try my other remote and see if it makes a difference. I know if you go to remote start your car while others are (at a meet) and you do it simulataneously, it won't do remote start or lock, almost like interference. Just curious if this affects others????

It supposed to have time delay. You lock the doors from the remote, the red LED stays solid for about 30 sec, then starts to blink, then it is armed. I think if you hit the lock button, then hit it again the light will start to blink right away and your system is instantly armed.

Yea, unfortunately there's a time delay, you can double tap the lock button but just the door locks lock, once the lights dim out then you can hit the lock button again to get the horn to beep..it's strange!

FYI: ALL factory alarms have a 30 second delay before being fully armed. It's nothing new.
