I run 91 (In Oklahoma as well) and I am modded (See below) and I have no knock at all...Naturally the car has a tune on it and I use the Torque Pro App on a Tablet when I drive the car.

No that is not a silly question. I was driving back from OKC tuesday and got within 30 miles of home and the dashlogic quit working as I was driving. I reached down with it still plugged in and moved the switch to 3 and did not touch it again. Today I pulled it out and moved it back to 1 and plugged it back in and wala,it is now showing 0.0 knock. I guess that was all I needed to do so I think I am good now.We shall see.

How many degrees are you seeing with "massive" knock?

What have the outside tempertures been when you experienced the knock? In colder weather, your calibration adds additional timing based on your Intake Air Tempertures.......Just like with hotter IATs subtracts timing from your main tables.

The chances for higher knock would be in warmer weather?

Hot weather does play a factor and that's what most people consider, but under 50 degrees IATs you're adding up to 4-5 degrees of additional timing for part throttle strategies.

For those that have been asking the timing I was seeing from my dashlogic has been 36 degrees and the knock went up to around 7.4 I think. Now like I said in the above post I am not getting any knock since I pulled the dashlogic out and waited a minute and plugged it back in.I then started the car and went down the road and got in it pretty good and it shows 0.0 knock now and the timing is still showing 34-36 degrees.

Not at wot I hope. 36 degrees at part throttle yes. But at wot it should be 23-25 degrees. 36 degrees at wot is going to blow it up.

FWIW, when I ran 91 octane(all we have here), I saw 6 degrees of KR at part throttle. Since adding Torco to get approximately 93/94, I haven't seen more the 2 degrees of KR at part throttle and 0 at WOT. My only mod is a rotofab CAI

If you're on the stock tune, I don't see how the computer would allow 36 degrees of timing at WOT?
