Thought you said you were doing PDR as a separate offering, now it is going to be all-in-one? The PDR camera is behind the rearview mirror in the ZL1 and Z06, so is the final product going to be both cameras?
And you've confirmed that PDR support is possible with the 2016 HMI? |

1. How will the unlock affect future myLink updates from GM? Will they wipe what you do to enable the camera or will it prevent updates completely? 2. How does the camera connect to the HMI? Is it a GM type of connector or something universal like composite/HDMI? 3. Is this version PDR capable or are other versions in the works? Thanks

Hello,
Every time GM does an upgrade into the software, will be necessary to send you the unit to rehack it, isnīt it? |

Only when they update the HMI, but that only gets updated when new maps come out on the nave unit, and i have changed my mind on getting NAV with the car, here is why, with the auto play no need for that any more, the phone is better to get your NAV, then OEM. IMO

I agree. A solution like this would be hugely beneficial for parallel parking maneuvers. I do think that a front camera alone plus some inexpensive blind spot mirrors (to spot the curbs better) would be just as good though.
