True. At a minimum, you have to look at trip computations. I just drove from Buffalo NY to Detroit MI. I reset Trip A when I left, so this is a clean calculation.

The other photo is my "Best 50 / Last 50" view that most people have been referring to. My "Best 50" is 31.3 and it occurred on this trip, but my average for the trip is 26.2

Sorry for the sideways photos.

Around town i'm getting 17/18 mpg. Out on the highway i'm consistently in the 29/30 mpg range with a best of 32 mpg. Speed plays a huge roll. 70 mph gets me over 30 mpg every time with the cruise set. 75 mph drops me below 30 mpg. It's weird but it's true.

I didn't buy this car for it's fuel efficiency my only concern is why someone with the exact same car can achieve such great gas mileage. Maybe all the roads are perfectly flat where they live lol.

I do 40+ miles at 80 mph one way to Town. I've been getting on average 26-28 mpg.

On longer trips, with minimal traffic, I've gotten 29 mpg as an average.

I own a 2.0L Turbo LT and my average fuel consumption since I bought the car (roughly 15000 mi) is 22.6 MPG. Mix of city and highway. Some of you guys in your SS's get much better than that! I don't even drive it that hard... lol

While true, I monitor all my fuel ups with Fuelly. The car's computer is consistently 2mpg higher than my Fuelly logs. That's pretty much falls in line with other cars I have owned and monitored. That accuracy is largely dependent on your driving style though. Here is my best MPG so far. 64mph with cruise on a 18 mile section of highway (not 100 level either).

*Edit sorry for the sideways pic.

I get about 19-23 MPG of mixed driving. Normally the periods of traffic kill me the most. Highway I've seen an upwards of 30MPG. I have a fairly calm foot.

On a 67 mile trip to my girlfriends house I consistently get 30-31 mpg. That's including a small city I have to drive through. My combined average usually stays around 25-26. This car actually gets a little better gas mileage than my 2011 LT Camaro.

I avg in the low teens on my V6 with my work commute since it's all traffic lights and I like to go fast.

On the highway my best 50 has been over 40mpg. Did coast of california to near flagstaff arizona using about 2/3 of a tank of gas.

The car gets awesome mileage while still being able to do 5 second 0-60's when i want to. yay progress.
