Stainless works catback

Can anyone post some videos of their zl1 with the stainless works catback? I already seen the ones from phastek. Those were good videos. Not interested in dyno videos. Before and afters would be amazing. Thanks.

We are installing one on an 18 ZL1, I will try to get before and after. Won't be real quick though.

I just bought my ZL1 and am seriously considering the AFE power mach force XP so you can have straight exhaust utilizing the valve or run with muffler. It is a much nicer set up! You may want to look at that option. I will post some links tomorrow of exhaust options. I am not a fan of the Stainless works because it does not utilize the valve option to go from mild to wild like AFE.

I don't believe that is true, you can choose if you have the valves or want a delete when looking at the catback on their website.

Correct you do not have to use the valve system in any aftermarket exhaust but why would you want to delete when you can have the best of both worlds? Trust me I have had both options and if the car already has it I am going to use it. I love having a badass all open exhaust but not practical for everyday use and or if you want to talk on the phone....so having two totally different types of exhaust in one package is a no brainer in my eyes. Just my .02 though.

I agree, I will only buy an aftermarket exhaust that uses the valves. I understood your post to say that the Stainless Works catback does not support the valves, and I was just pointing out that they do.

aFe is much more expensive from what I saw. SW does have a system that utilizes the valves as well as a system that doesn't. Same with Magnaflow and Corsa and several of the other systems. I like the valves and think it is neat. But I do not like the fact that you can't simply turn them off. I feel that it adds an unnecessary expense when shopping for an exhaust.

Sorry for digging up the old thread, but i’m guessing the SS catback fits the ZL1?? Because i’m not finding anything besides headers that are ZL1 specific.

Thanks
