Motorhead, NIN, Five Finger Death Punch, Marillion, Theory of a dead man, Pink Floyd, The Tubes, Elvis Costello.......I am really no help, I listen to a lot of stuff, and much of it doesn't fit together.

I like everything derklug1. Most of those are in my mix already. Couple I have not heard of so will be checking them out. This is exactly why I posted this.

Like I said, I listen to everything.
I'm 33. How old are you?

I listen to all types of music, lately I've been listening to Astronomyy station on Pandora. Usually, I listen to a combo of metal, classic rap, and trap music. I'm very diverse though, especially on stressful days where I would rather listen to classic rock & classic country.

I play bass guitar so i jam to anything with some real good rhythm. Led zeppelin is always easy. Try listening to their live bbc recordings. Stevie ray vaughan and jimi hendrix when i'm feeling more blues. I'm a 90's kid so i like to keep my roots. I listen to a lot of sublime. Well i play most of it. Not their number 1 hits, that's not the real stuff. I have like 150 songs from them and it has to have some of the best bass and rhythm around. Its awesome. I love the grateful dead and other jam bands like phish and dave matthews band. Also on the top of my list are the doors and black sabbath.
Keep the blues, funk & rhythm people!

When I'm driving alone, I play a heavy dose of old school funk and hard rock... WAR, Brothers Johnson, AWB, Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Scorpions, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Aerosmith and the like... if the 19 y/o is in the car, Octane is on.

I can listen to pretty much anything except C&W, Screamo, and crappy rap... I like old school rap, NWA, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill... and Grandmaster Flash... but most of the newer stuff just makes me cringe.

So, anything from Sister Sledge to Sisters Of Mercy.

I generally stick with progressive death or technical death metal. Bands like Allegaeon, Beyond Creation, Dying Fetus, Black Crown Initiate, Virvum, The Zenith Passage, Misery Index, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Animals as Leaders, Scale the Summit, The Helix Nebula and a few more.
