2015 colorado intake manifold install....
So finally got around to installing my junkyard intake...oh boy did it turn into a project....at least a fun one to me...
First off when I mocked up the manifold my eyes deceived me the bolt holes did not line up correctly. So the hardest part of this project was cutting a hole in the upper lip of the fire wall. Yes this picture it was a rough cut, I did go on to clean it up and put a rubber coating on it

Was a pretty straight forward process after the fire wall modification... only had to buy lengthened hose for vaccum line that attaches to the brake booster... and had to add some wire to the purge solenoid harness other than that everything was easy hook up

Holy Crap did you use a can opener ? Hope you're going to have some new metal welded back in .
You are a brave soul . I couldn't do that to my car . Hope it's worth it .

Now I did have to turn the throttle body to where the motor is up top and it did touch the padding on the hood..but as you can see my hood closed fine. I did not have to force anything... I have yet to do any serious testing so I'm not going to say whether it was worth it yet . Nor am I suggesting it to anyone I did this for my own personal experience. If you want proven performace please stick with professional products.

Man, that took some guts. I don't know if I'd ever want to cut into my engine compartment like that for a mere 10% improvement in intake flow. But....if running the Colorado intake with Jacfab spacer gets you some serious torque gains....Hmmm...
