The "original" HPS is the quiet pad, and they aren't very dusty either. My experience on three different cars. If they have a downside in street driving, it's lackluster initial bite (little better than base OE).

There's a new Hawk pad, High Performance Street 5.0, that is aimed a little higher on the braking performance ladder but still a good bit below HP+. I don't know any more.

How do these rotors compare to the stock(1le) ones? Are they same or better quality than OEM? Do they work well with stock pads? Thanks for the info....

HPS is not a dusty pad at all. Not to be confused with HP+. No idea where the newer HPS 5.0 pads fit on a 'dusting' scale.

What about DBA and Stoptech? They make excellent rotors.
Also have cryo treated options as well.

Baer and Stoptech also offer a 2-piece rotor for the stock application. That could be an improvement in heat management for a track session. Expensive but not as much as BBK. Probably not worth it.

I don't think you can get any better than OEM. To me, they seem to work just as good and are made to OEM spec per website.. The hawk hPS pads that I have work great as well, no noise, but there is brake dust for sure.

Thanks Texas_RS, they definitely have the cool factor going for them. How do you like your BMR springs? Other than harsher/louder ride, any negative impact over the factory set up. Did they ruin the neutral steer of the stock set up?

I have Akebono pads on my desk I need to install this winter... 8,000 miles and the stock brake dust is horrible.

I know they not track pads but I don't track.

That's why I just went with stock front pads & rotors. And I would be
leery to buy a used Camaro with drilled rotors. Just my opinion but I
think that would indicate a car that wasn't driven lightly.

I went with Brake Performance drilled and slotted rotors and Brembo ceramic pads. Very happy. They squeal a bit after sitting awhile but by the time I leave my driveway they are done

I myself would prefer just a slotted rotor .
