New to the Camaro World

Whats going on everyone? Bought my first car last week for Black Friday. Happy to say that is a brand new 2016 Camaro 2SS. I've never been so excited about a car before. Crazy thing is when I saved up my money I was hoping to get a 2016 Mustang GT lol but once I looked at the walked through video of the Camaro 2SS I was hooked. The next day I test drove it and I was hooked. I'm super happy about my Camaro and I can't wait to personalize it. I love it!

Congrats man.. Did you test drive a 5.0 prior?

Powder coat the rims, it'll look 5x meaner.

Nah man I didn't. Fell in love with the SS right off the back. What do you mean by power coat and how much will it be?

You'll be in for a surprised testing them back to back.. trust me I know lol

Powdercoating the rims black.. much better option than painting or plasti-dip.

Around here (probably the same in our area) is usually $450-$600. That's everything, they will take off your tire, powdercoat your rims and then install, balance your tires.

Black on black is MEAN and just fits the personality of the car! That was my 2nd choice after red

That looks super dope man! Thats the look I want to go for and that price is fair. Where would I go? Would I go to a local paint and body shop?

Yeah man, that black on black is nuts lol

The best way to do this is get reccomedation from your local rim shops. Most rim shops powder coat.

Definetly man that will fit my car perfect and sure does beat buying new rims especially because I like the ones that came on. I'll keep you updated. I plan on getting that in December if the talk the right price.

Welcome. I was also originally looking at a Mustang. The Ford dealer that had the car I wanted played so many stupid games that I bolted out upset. It was priceless seeing the sales manager in the rearview mirror trying to chase me down. Anyway, the whole Ford thing got ruined so I went to see a Camaro that wasn't even in the plan. The boss (my wife) loved the Camaro so that made things way easier. I'm very happy the way things turned out.
