2017 2.0 4-cyl Turbo GENERAL DISCUSSION

Hey guys,

New to this forum but i figured i would take a second to create a thread (hopefully that has not been created already) for the 2017 2.0 turbo model as a general discussion page.

I just got mine about a month ago.

I live in CT so if you are around there, let me know!

Hello there! It's good to see another Gen6 owner in CT -- I just don't see too many out here on I-84. It's too bad, because the back roads in Western CT (New Milford) are so much fun to carve up.

Each of the V8, V6, T4's have their own sub-folders that this will probably get moved to by the moderators. Here's the link to it for your reference:

http://www.camaro6.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=234

You might want to bookmark that as well as the general forum for all-things 6th Gen...

Best,

CamaroBruno

Nice ride! Break that sucker in and post up some 0-60 times in my thread (drag/launching section)
Lots of great threads going on in the 2.0 turbo bolt-on section

Tell me honestly what ya think
. Can you get npp in the 4cyl? I'm thinking going to the 4 banger. Next Camaro tell me what ya think of your cars. I'd like to hear the sounds of the exhaust. Is the auto a 8 speed?

Hey Skip,
I've had mine for about two months now and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. I'm coming from a 2001 3 series BMW so this is quite the step up for me. And yes the 8 speed is auto w/ paddle shifters.

POWER: 275/295 Throttle response in Sport mode is QUICK. It will surprise you when the turbo kicks in. MAX TQ at 3000-4000rpm is great too.Lose some power over 5500.

TRANSMISSION
: Awesome on the highway in the upper gears, BUT, when you are taking it down the back roads, put it in manual mode because the auto tranny shifts through gears like no ones business. (like 7th gear going 40mph). Paddles are pretty responsive.

DRIVING: Sheer pleasure to drive. The only thing that I have to mention is that it is tight as all hell inside (I like it because i like being tucked in). Visibility, for the first couple days sucks but it is no problem getting used to.

Put 93 gas in it as well.

I would recommend this car, absolutely. The bang for your buck is not found anywhere else, trust me, i looked. I was looking into BMW 335s and 135s, GTIs, GLIs, WRXs. Drove all of them and was completely blown away by the Camaro. No other car in its price/performance range, gives you as much as this car does. Mine has the Bose Premium Sound System and the Technology package.

Let me know if you want to know anything else.

I am in the works to make a Youtube video review of my car soon.
