Clutch starts to slip at 600. It's just its limit. You'll start to lose power. And not be able to push it as much. If your doing work it's much better to knock it all out at once specially if your paying a shop

because once you have it...you just understand

600hp is also fairly easy and not to expensive to get to. Bolt ons and nitrous will get you there for a few grand easily. sad thing is when you get there, its still not enough and you end up racing cars in a higher league than before. Now I need as close to 1000hp as possible next year or at least over 800 to feel fast. Just something about being that car people don't wana mess with when you pull up.

For the track, yeah I understand the reasoning.

For a street only car, well, having a faster and more powerful car than the guy in the 5.0 who pulls up to you at a red light might be cool, at least until you stomp on the gas and don't notice that cop over in the parking lot.

My 2010 is supercharged. The previous owner blew out the clutch and put in a monster clutch before I bought it. Also have 1000 hp axles. Heavy drag racing and high speed roll racing

The cost of those kind of mods could bring you other kinds of life enjoyments.
1 Working on the car is enjoyable
2 Achieving a goal is enjoyable
3 You can use 600hp on the street and never break the speed limit.
4 Because I can.
5 Its fun.

Now its your turn, what other kinds of life enjoyment could that money bring?
Realize anything you mention I will say would be even more fun if you had a 600hp camaro also.

I put a Monster twin and replaced the carrier and throw out bearing at the same time. Love it. At the HP your looking at, you may want to start looking at axles and drive shafts. The drivers side is known to snap under that much torque.

Meh...no problem there either. Mustang loses and the cop can only catch him. Even more reason for 600+ hp Plus what someone else said about being able to accomplish something with your car not everyone else has.
