it isn't about faster, who cares about faster when it Is Not you doing the job?. Kind of like eating a meal and not tasting the food. Drive the car, not the car drives you, unless you are someone opting for these new cars that are coming out that will drive you around by themselves. OH but they are faster?!? understand yet?. of course I learned there are many in life that simply do not wish to see, because they cannot handle the truth.

But you really shouldn't get offended by any of the advice which this post sounds like you did. You asked forum members to suggest what you should do and nearly to a person they said it would be better to trade if you can.

You don't want to trade, so that's cool. But to ask for advice when really what you wanted was affirmation about what you wanted to do (make the swap) was probably the wrong way to start the post in the first place.

When the cop gives you the ticket he doesn't ask if you have a auto or manual. "But Officer, I have a auto tranny, I wasn't really driving".

I had my years of having a manual (as a daily driver). Fun in Chicago rush hour (NOT). If it was a weekend toy maybe, but I get plenty of enjoyment out of my auto, AND I'm driving the car. I can handle the truth just fine.

Few weeks ago when I was at a local Chevy car show, I asked about this.
There are to many computers that would have to be changed, plus the dash inside.
I won't have the transmission out.
If I did, if I can, I will go to a Manual Transmission, but, that will have to wait for a little.

I do want to see what the 2017 ZL1 Camaro's look like. I've seen pic's of them, but like to see if they hold true to the design.

GM had one at Superfest yesterday. It was my first time seeing one in person.

Still in the works, but since then I put the build on a slower TL with other things going on in life. Still looking to finish it this year if possible.I've went back and forth about doing it with a few fellow friends that are knowledgable about this or my trusted tuner, which is where it will end up more than likely. Only need the trans and 3.73 rear now. Plus its hard to have the mod bug and do this at the same time. Computers have to be swapped out and I already have the dash interior pieces needed. So no biggie there, but the plan is to carry it out regardless.
