Price is exaggerated so much. My 2SS has every LPO option other than brakes and the $2k rims. That includes cargo net, footwell lighting, splash gaurds and much more. My MSRP was $49,920 and my price was $46,700. Look at my signature!
The price gap between a 2SS and GT350 is huge. The content and purpose of the two are very different. If you want a great car to drive, buy the 2SS. If you want a car parked in the corner that you hope to minimize the depreciation on, get the GT350. If you plan on driving/tracking. What engine do you want to own when the warranty is finished?

GT350 starts at $47795. And It's nearly impossible to equip both cars identical, BUT even too get close you have to start with a 2SSjust for the Recaro seat option that comes standard. |

I'm not sure I agree with this. Stopping distance is not what the brake option is meant for. It's meant for better performance on a track, which I'm thinking they will certainly provide over the standard SS brakes. Yes, they are pricey but if you've ever been on a track, you'll come to accept it.

Incorrect. The non track ready, 2016 base GT350 track car had an MSRP of $49,920 with destination. This is the level that goes into limp mode following a regular GT on parade laps due to overheating. For 2017, the previously optional $6,500 track package is mandatory

Mine had an MSRP of just under $49k. Bought it at $42k even. Search and find the deal you want, they're out there.

That's what has been said. Which explains why there really aren't any incentives. GM must not be worried about the sales totals because of the profit built into the 6th gen.
Also we have some forum members who have done a good bit of track time in the cars now. The ones I've read had 4 pots and didn't complain of any issues in their long sessions. So someone really needs to justify spending $3k extra. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk

GT 435 HP - high 12's and 13' ECOBOOST 310 HP - Low 14's average Focus RS 350 HP - high 13's, mid 13's GT350 526 HP - mid 12's? Low 12's with a good driver?? I know those are just 1/4 mile times rounding it out with a manual and the GT350 is more track focus.. But still.. maybe it's the suspensions and weight? GT500 did well running low to mid 11s Hmmmmmmm.... |

I'd take a GT350 personally for even money, but it would have to have the track pack for sure. The Camaro SS is good to go for some track sessions in stock form.
