say what? they guy that installed mine said it was OK to polish it and I did with Blackfire total polish and seal and crystal seal. It makes it look amazing.

I polished it with a blue pad witch is very soft. Besides what do care it has a 7 year warranty NO questions asked and yes I agree ABRASIVE POLISHING would be bad.

I am now wondering if the roof, spoiler, mirrors, and body kit would be too much black.
I really like the look of the body kit in black, but with black rims is throws off the look, trying to figure out what options to do in black to balance the car up top.

What happens with the trim piece that runs front-to-back on both sides between the roof and door frames? There's a channel there with the trim piece. The attached pictures don't appear to have that channel. Am I making sense?

The 5th gen has the trim piece, the 6th gen has no trim, they used a new technique where the roof is seamlessly welded to the side panels. Much cleaner looking.
