Improved on the gold bowtie

Really didn't like the gold bow tie on a black car.
Took a few minutes to tape it off and a couple quick light coats of paint.
Not too bad for a "free" upgrade if you ask me
I'm liking the non-gold look...

I agree. The gold bowtie looks okay on a Cruze. Looks cheezy on the Camaro.

Needs to go away. I would do a flowtie or delete, but the '15 has a big block of plastic behind the bowtie. Thanks GM.
Probably going to black it out as well.

i ordered the black replacement ones from chevy mall ... eventually they will arrive i hope ... didnt trust myself with paint or vinyl to get it right and the wife wanted to buy me something affordable for the car .... visually that bowtie is the ugliest thing on the car so replacing the gold will be very nice lol

I like the "Flowtie" look, how did you cut it out?
As fasd as upgrading to the "SS", I would love it, but it would be tasteless to put SS on an LT..

Paul... I read a post on the Internet somewhere that if there isn't a gold bow tie on the 14 LT it will gain 23 HP.. They couldn't post it if it wasn't true, right?
Sanjay, that sounds like WAY too much work for a 14.. I'll just keep the painted version

Haha... finally someone with a sense of humor...

My shiny Performance badge on my 1LE adds at least 25.

For cripe sack Vin I can do almost double that just eating a can of Grama Browns baked beans. And I only have a single exhaust W/ no NPP. But then Old Farts are good at it.
