Thank you, that it is very helpful.
But it is still ridiculous that in order to get a nice system from the factory I have to add on all kinds on all kinds of nonsense I do not want.

Ok, according to the order guide (These are all the same 20" 5 spoke low gloss black wheels):

SHH is LPO for 1LT/2LT. ($1995)
56F is LPO for the 1SS/2SS. ($1995)
RTH as RPO for 2LT. ($800)
56V as RPO for 2SS. ($200)

Could be by design, though, that they didn't (per the order guide). Also, LPO wheels, you keep the stock set, and these are an additional 2nd set of wheels, where RPO, they are not, and are installed from the factory, and you don't get a 2nd set.

They should give you the option of leather and also the blind spot as stand a lone features.
We just don't feel that 'bare bones' is the correct term. Bare bones to me, means far more stripped. The 1SS gives more than enough for the average person's needs. The only options I'd have liked to see for 1SS are the upgraded radio...and if I stretch, perhaps HUD or safety.

the black 5 spoke are not available on the 1LT either, only the 2LT and 2SS. It's not a mistake, they just want you to have leather if you have these wheels I guess. They're "premium" or whatever.

I'm sure there is still a lot of work going on to fix the process since it just came online. There's probably someone sitting at their desk pulling their hair out trying to fix it as we are all bombarding it right now. lol

bare bones isnt the right term, I think base model would be the better term because it is the base V-8 model.

I feel like leather seats should be an optional as well. I don't see why GM and ford both make you go to the higher trim to get leather.

Priced a 2015 how I would want it 1SS 1LE RS with sun roof

$40,250

Priced a 2016 the same way (since 1SS is essentially a 2015 1SS with RS and 1LE included)

1SS with sun roof

$38,195

Actually, not really. Design has been separated from content for a long time now. All someone has to do is update numbers/text in a database/spreadsheet/flat file that gets queried. Best to do so late at night/early morning so people hitting it don't see a price change from one screen to the next.

Configuration selections are pretty much just 'if/then' statements. Also easy to fix. The servers are getting slammed probably, so best to wait for things to die down a little.

That and the team are probably already working on those "coming early 2016" additions (introduced in SEMA) as we speak.

56S is the set of wheels that comes standard on the 1SS/2SS.

56V and RTH are not options on the 1SS....wow..no low gloss option on the 1SS...that's absurdly dumb.

Why allow the 2SS to get that for $200 but not offer the same thing on the 1SS...they are both upgrading from 56S.

Yah Dodge lets you choose.

Safety options should be ALWAYS available on all trims.

You might as well take that $2000 and get a nice set of rims with a better offset.

Far from bare bones...

Just not fully loaded, as many don't want that. I would rather keep the weight down then add a bunch of stuff I don't want and won't use.

Agree on the leather. It's annoying you can't get leather on a car that starts at over 37 grand.

I agree. Bare bones would be a stripper car...a car with two big 8" screens full of stuff I'll barely use alone can't qualify as bare bones to me LOL.
