Unless someone can sell me on using it everyday.
I have posted on driving mine in Houston traffic more than a few times.

There's a nice looking one at a Huntsville dealer. If that's it... You should buy it!

I'm in lower AL at Ft Rucker. My drive to work is 5-7 min depending on traffic. I come out the gate, hit 60mph then I'm home. I have two fbodys I could use in a pinch but they are both no AC track cars.
Counting autocross I do 20+ events a year, but usually 5-6 track weekends a year.

What I've noticed. Temps get pretty high in stop and go traffic which turns off the a/c. I took the hood rain guard off and things improved a little. But that's in Texas 100 degree heat. The stock tires suck in the rain. Weather watching is a must or switch to street tires. People always conduct interviews about the car.

Although I do not have a Z28 I do have a ZL1. It is not a daily driver but I have driven it to work a few times when I had to. I think the price you're being given is pretty good. It looks like you have to buy tires no matter what. The Goodyears used on my ZL1 are pretty good for both DD and track use where the Trofero's are pretty much a track tire. The Goodyears get about 20,000 miles. The only part of having a Z28 as a daily driver is the front splitter coming in contact with curbs, and inclines. Other than that you will have get used to the little bit harder ride and everyone pulling up next to you to race. The car sounds great !!!! The only car that I thought sounded better than my ZL1. Good luck with you choice and if if your mouth muscles get a little sore, that is from the constant smile on your face.
