NPP Exhaust

For those of you with the quad NPP exhaust do you guys tend to have the outside pipes get real black while the inside ones stay clean? Mine do this all the time.

Sounds like you need to romp on it a little more to get that other pipe dirty or do the fuse pull or mild to wild switch.

Just a guess, I don't have the NPP exhaust so I honestly don't know which pipe has the flaps that open. But I assume if it doesn't open that often then you would have a cleaner pipe. Just my 2 cents. Floor it! Haha

Thats normal. Be sure to do a flashlight check and see if muffler packing material is getting blown out. Free new mufflers!

Just a guess cause I don't have NPP so I honestly don't know which pipe opens but that's what I would think is why it isn't as dirty.
I did a fuse pull that's the thing, I thought they should be dirty equally.

I'm sure someone will chime in with more knowledge about it than I have. I thought the same thing.

It is normal, and only appears on the side that is open. They are not all open when the fuse is pulled, they just switch which side is open.

I thought the Fuse pull keeps both valves open which is why it makes it louder.

I do notice outside one gets a little dirtier but nothing I would consider abnormal.

It's normal. The exhaust is going to take the path of least resistance. The routing on the inside wraps through the muffler where the outsides are pretty much straight through.

Best regards,
