I was hoping no one would ask, but I would open the drain valve and put the drain hose into a bottle then take the hose off the valve cover and the hose off the intake. I would than plug the intake hose end with my finger and blow into the valve cover hose end and the oil would than pour out of the drain hose. If I didn't do this nothing would come out of the drain hose when I opened it.

I prefer unscrewing the bottom half of my Elite and draining it, wiping it clean and screwing it back on. that's exactly why I didn't buy anything else.

The Rx can is just supposed to be drained--loosen the wing nut, oil flows out, tighten wing nut.

I've never heard of the need to pressurize. I'll just leave the can alone. It captured oil the first year or so at normal levels and now just seems to be a smaller amount. I'll dump the can if I need to "blow" it and go back to stock...

You can actually go to a hardware store and just buy a different on/off valve and screw it into the bottom of the can. Many people have done this and it makes it way easier to drain. Probably something I will be doing this spring.

There's plenty of V6 Catch can installations, but I couldn't find anything specifically on the RX Catch Can for the SS.

Is this a straight forward install? The instructions are pretty vague.
Maybe this picture can help you!

I agree. The Elite OCC is quicker to empty out.

Get yourself an apex catch can. So easy to remove, I like mine a lot.
