Dunno if anybody in the 'midlands region' fancies a nice rumble around the cotswolds/south mids area-ish with a stop-off for tea and a slice of cake somewhere during the xmas break? I was out on Saturday and it was a glorious day, went with wifey to Moreton in the marsh for a bit of shopping a coffee and then a detour thru some beautiful countryside where we passed some great-looking country village pubs. I know a lot of you guys are scattered far and wide but it was just a thought...(dependent on some bright cold sunny day naturally) I feel obliged to get thru as much of that fossil fuel as poss to help rid the planet of the horrid stuff, especially as it's now cheeeeeper!

It was a pleasure meeting up with you today and thanks for being such a superb host :-)

Loved every 'double-take' minute of it! #PermaGrin!

I know this thread says mince pies and christmas cheer, but we still had a blast and the weather was perfect for it.

I really enjoyed swapping stories and for anyone else that can make it next time, Ed's bride makes a bostin' bacon sandwich with a wide range of bread to choose from! :-)

As promised here are some of the photo's uploaded from my camera.
I've deleted the blurry ones but this is everything else that I have.

Was a great morming Pete - smashing to be able to stretch her legs after all the sh1te weather. Ceratainly woke up the sleepy Saturday morning Cotswolds. Maybe we do it again soon and get a few more of the boys to come - I'll get the briide to stock up on bacon...

Good man! Maybe we have another 'Butty Run' soon - you prob know the roads round here, not many cameras, nice scenery, good sightlines and half-decent road surfaces - be rude not to do it again soon...
