There really is no need for the white clip. The only thing it does is prevent you from pushing the button which is impossible given the location.

+1 What he said ^^^^ plus it makes it that much easier to remove the harness if you need to. Getting that white/gray clip up is the hardest part of the install.

I uninstalled mine last week to let a friend try it out and it was a total pain in the ass... That thing will never come loose on it's own if it's installed correctly the first time.

Ridiculously easy, except for the torture of twisting into a pretzel to get under the dash...5'8 200lbs (52)..Will give it a run in the morning...

It's not too bad of an install yes it's hard to twist under there and it's not much room to work but if you go in with a patient mindset it can be done and up and running in 10 if not five minutes. I installed mine in my schools parking lot after class.

a small critique here.. Install was a breeze, (67 and 5'6 chubby guy) haha..
once installed and programmed, started on 5 for close to 2 hrs..very, very nice indeed, allowed me to get out of driveways fast and change lanes a lot faster and in control at this level without endangering me or anyone. On the road pick up made my car feel lighter, just an all around good mod...
