I'm pretty sure that "quarantine" simply means that those likely to contract the disease will be gently encouraged not to open "Kissing Booths" at the county fair. Beyond that, hell, fly, go out to eat, lick handrails on the subways, sneeze your way to work, and donate blood. No biggie.

"RELAX", I just watched some great dancing on CNN with the white house press Secretary and he was asked that 2 days ago the reporters were told about how things up to that point were not per protocol and that the Government was all over it now. So the question went like why did this person that treated the original guy that died from Ebola allowed to fly within 48 hrs of him passing away when they should have been being tested every 24 hrs to make sure they did not have it. That's when the dancing really got good, Its all good !

My wife discussed this with her coworkers the other day who are all nurses, and I can tell you that most precautions are not followed 100%. There are many instance where breaches in protocol happen and its usually unconscious human error. No matter how air tight the protocol may be, people make mistakes.

For not being easily transmittable, the claim in the article below that just in Guinea alone, 76 doctors have contracted the disease, and 37 of those have died, makes me wonder: Either these doctors don't have the slightest clue what they are doing/ dealing with... or it is a lot more easily communicable than thought.

Yeah...O.K. An educated and skilled nurse isn't going to take EXTRA precautions around ebola...It's not like they've been talking about how deadly it was in the news or anything.

Give me a break. This isn't the flu.

Don't watch the news if you're going to be paranoid about everything that's happening in the world.

As far as being transmittable/contagious....if it's that hard to contract, why are they spraying, disinfecting, etc., outdoor areas like steps, sidewalks, driveways, lawns (and in full protective gear)....???
