Been a member since February and didn't see anything about the key issue? No way, it was all over the place. Not to mention, most everyone I work with knew about it and told me about it daily for 2 weeks. No way.

I'm sorry, that is they way I sit and drive, my dad is 6'4 and when he got in his leg did nothing but rub on the fob when sitting in the car.. but either way, the case number was Case#785979 not sure that helps in any regard, but if it does, thanks.

I let my car roll out of my garage sometimes so I don't wake the wife. Steering and braking is harder than I thought it would be, but still controllable.

Here are some photos after completing the install of the bumper. I am taking it off now to get it painted. I also need to fix my camber on the driver side front wheel. It is about 2* off and driving me insane.

It looks like you have an LS, which has Hydraulic power steering. The ZL1 does not, and therefore not the same.

I will just say "Thanks for the warning, potterluck" and let it go at that. Well, I guess I'll also say that I am 6'-3" and cannot get my knee anywhere near touching the fob in my normal driving position. The steering wheel prevents it. If I was able to knee the fob, there's no way my foot could be touching the gas pedal.

lol wow. so much BS, I can smell the stench through the computer. You couldn't tell that you jammed your knee into your key fob and turned the car OFF until it was too late? you were only going 25mph, does turning the car off prevent the brakes from working? Was the stop sign in the middle of the road? you said steering is much harder when the car is off, how can you turn into a stop sign?
