ZL1 @ Vengeance Racing Dyno Day

Had a blast hanging out with everyone in the cold. The weather sure was kind to the Dyno numbers that's for sure. Stock ZL1's were putting down 550's RWHP. Mine put down 593. Their C7 is going to be something to watch as well!

I had fun too,I had to leave a little early.

The cold air helped a lot with the FI cars,my ZL1 ended up 604/575

Now thats what I call a happy dyno! 550 whp considering ZL1s make 580 at the crank. Only a 30 hp loss thru the drivetrain!!

I get that. It was stated that stock ZLs were putting down 550 whp. Thats what I find hard to swallow! My car has Pfadt tri Ys with hi flo cats, Roto Fab, ported throttle body, D3 HX and resevoir and a tune and puts out 536 whp! It runs 11.4 11.5 at the strip. I know, dynos are just a tool. When my car was a week old I ran it on a dyno and the lowest # it showed was 578! Totally out to lunch!

Everybody was up about 30-50 rwhp.

One stock ZL1 put down 560 rwhp.

I know this is old but I was there and it was all in the 20* weather that was present. My SS was 630 that day and was a couple of lbs of boost higher than normal because of this. The N/A cars were spot on at 400-425 with bolt ons.
