To FnD...the coordinates were likely written at the factory and your muffler was randomly chosen as a quick note sheet for a machinist to jot down info (probably before the exhaust system was attached to car). If it bothers you, a solvent will remove the marker ink.

Thanks to all for the welcome and comments on my camaro. Love this forum.
I figured it to be like you all said the scribblings of a mad scientist camaro builder. I may paint the cans flat black so I wanted to know what the forum thought it was. It looks like rust in the pic but I believe it is the mung from the weep hole. Before I took the pic the bottom of the mufflers were spattered with the stuff. I'm lucky enough that this is not my daily driver so to sleep it is. Soon the roads will be covered with the white stuff and I don't mean snow the real demon of upstate NY winters SALT. Want to keep all the nuts and bolts free from rust to make the mods go a little easier. Thanks again FnD |

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

William R Chevrolet Customer Svc - Thanks. Ride has been great. As you can see I went for the SS1 - M6 - CRT with sunroof. SS1 provides the impressive performance at a nice price. Denis - Thanks Saratoga Springs |
