I always run my halos which bring the running lights along for the ride, Oracle SMD, and the Afterburner tails. I think GM realized the '10/'13 DRL are lame which is why DRL's for 2014 models are the halos.

I think I know of one you are talking about. The one I have makes the halos drl's and the "fogs" come on when the headlights are on. If I'm not mistaken there is a wire coming off the harness that allows you to switch the fogs. It's been a while since I've looked at it but let me find the link and I'll post it

Here it is, there is also one that allows you to turn the amber side markers into turn signals.

Halos on should be a requirement! Thats what you paid the extra for.

I don't, my LEDs in the T3 ports run as DRLs and stay on with halos or halos/headlights.

I do put them on if it's cloudy out or close to dark, but not often.
