I always run my halos which bring the running lights along for the ride, Oracle SMD, and the Afterburner tails. I think GM realized the '10/'13 DRL are lame which is why DRL's for 2014 models are the halos.

Halos on should be a requirement! Thats what you paid the extra for.

I don't, my LEDs in the T3 ports run as DRLs and stay on with halos or halos/headlights.
I do put them on if it's cloudy out or close to dark, but not often.
