QFE. I love how these threads evolve:

Beginning: "I want to build a brick house"
Middle: "Don't build a house with brick, use stone it's better"
Middle: "Stone doesn't seal well, stains easily.
Middle: "If you need to reseal, you might as well remodel?"
Middle: "Where can I get a range that matches the wall?"
Middle: "Buy your appliances at Best Buy."
Middle: "Best Buy sucks, go to ABT"
Middle: "I bought a cool stereo at ABT"
Middle: "Oh cool, I bet Rock music sounds good on it"
Middle: "Nah, Jazz is better"
End: "Jazz sucks"

WTF ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?

OP, I feel for you, theres a few people that are just hating on what you want to do, maybe because they cant do it, maybe for others reasons....IGNORE THEM! its not worth it. There are quite a few giving you some good advise, but ultimately its up to you what you want to do with your money.

F**K AGE.....It doesnt mean s***. Theres people 40 and 50 that are complete retards on the street.

Sorry had to jump in on this one!
If you look up, the point has left contrails over your head.. That was in response to the ****y response I got, also from a "young person" ... You too should also go look at my first response where I provide some data, but I wasn't going to retype everything said above me so I gave nod to those in my first lines.

hey, everyone knows you are only as good as your last post. very few people are smart enough to follow a discussion and they think each post is made by a unique member.

Before you go.. Would you please ask Tachyons and Gravitons to show themselves sometime soon? The existence and control over those two would make for some very wonderful advances in tech..

Hey everyone, been a while since i've posted due to surgery...to answer some questions...yes its the point of a 4 figured hp car that runs on 93pump...its not the point of making it a DD and lets be honest why would you drive 1000rwhp car as a DD...YOU DONT...its the fact of having it and wanting to take it out for show...I am a camaro fan for life and will own one of each generation but I still want this one to be the monster it was born to be...Trust me being that im 21 doesnt mean I dont understand the price, time, or even the work needed to structuralize the entire car, but when you all were my age didnt you have a dream to make a car as stupid powerful as you can and still be able to drive around...and as i see it I can afford the by age 25 with no problem...Life is short and you never know when it may end, expectially when your military fighting a war...I want to live with no regrets and be able to say I (legally) had the most fun I physically could...I accept all the critisizm/ knowledge put out by my elders, but take a step back and view life from my eyes...how many ppl my age can say they own a car with 1000rwhp or even close? Im single and have no wife/kids to take care of...which means enjoy life...or should i be like most other soldiers these days and drink my money away and buy dumb crap i will end up gettin rid of...I will never sell this camaro, or my other camaro...or any other camaro i purchase in the future...im camaro for life and thats how im always gonna be...CHEVY 4 LIFE...

Okay, okay... From one vet to another soldier, I have the perfect solution:

Dual LS3's!

You could go about it one of 2 ways. You could either, 1: Put the second motor in the trunk and just get a another drivetrain, turn it around and have it power the front wheels ( gives you AWD. VERY cool ), or 2: Squeeze a second motor in beside the first one and have each motor power just one wheel! ( we'll figure out all of the computer controlled stuff like speed balancing and ASM later )

You're welcome for the awesome idea!

How many lbs of boost can i push if I were to fordge my entire lower end and get better heads, and 2. Does anyone know of a really great build or builder I could speak to about this project...keep in mind my motor head friends...im wanting to keep it at a 93oct level so i can still fill up at pump.

So heres the challenge: Send me a build (with parts list) to which i can build a 1000rwhp Ls3 that will run on pump gas and it all has to be safely built so it doesnt fall on its face after 6 months or so...also bore and stroke is great ideas but im pretty set at punchin out to a 416ci or 418ci.

Ok gents lets see what the world can offer, thanks for your time and thanks to everyone who reply.
Here ya go bud, one of our members car in our Spaced Coast Camaro club. The video is 28 minutes long, but worth the watch. Enjoy..

I had a 630rwhp Kenne Bell Cobra and even with huge drag radials I could break the tires loose at 85mph. 1000hp on the street would be overkill at the stop light. If it were a weekend track car then have at it just do the mods needed to keep it reliable and going straight at the track.
