I didn't like how it stuck out from the rest of her body. Not like it was protruding or anything but more so that it broke up the smoothness. If that makes any sense.

what locking cap did you go with? did it throw a code after switching out the stock gas cap?

don't know the name. I basically just went into an Auto Zone and told them I wanted a locking gas cap for my 2011 camaro. They punched it into the system and found a cap that matched in like 3 minutes. And no it has not thrown a code - knock on wood.

so..it does not come with the locking mechanism(therefore a non-locking fuel door)?

No it has the locking mechanism. It's currently missing this piece. But I sent an email to Defenderworx so I should have it by mid next week.
