Does it have to be a model correct and specific VIN or would any Chevy passenger car of the same year work?

If u ever thought u would need to defend it, id think it needs to be a car that uses the same "chassie" to call it a reason-able swap of a camaro body onto one.

The 1st Gen Camaro was being reproduced long before this was announced.

All I would do is find a rusted out car and just restore it by cutting out the firewall tags and any other serial tags and restoring the other 99.99 percent of the car using the new reproduction sheet-metal.

I "restored" it, using all new parts and sheetmetal.

That is a good idea.

But how long do you expect to get away with that before some unelected desk jockey figures it out and makes a new rule that all cars ever made will need to be retrofitted with the latest safety and pollution controls in order to use "public" roads? There are states already considering this type of thing.

Wouldn't that be a form of property seizure without due process? One could make a 5th Amendment argument against such requirements.

The one thing ford has up on Dynacorn is that ford is the complete body where as Dynacorn is just from the firewall back.

Before you could make that argument, you would need to explain to them what an "ammendment" was and what exactly it was "ammended" to.

Otherwise, they will just look at you like you're speaking in martian language.

Did those things have an actual top of some sort? It looks like there is no top and no way to attach one.

The article says that the mustangs are being made by Dynacorn, not ford. Same thing.

"Ford says the new body shell built by California-based Dynacorn has been improved only slightly with modern welding techniques and rustproofing, and comes out of the crate nearly ready for paint and assembly."
