YEAH!! Just got my new 'vert!!
Ha Ha!! Okay, so it's not a 5th Gen Camaro 'vert. This is my new "beater" car to drive to and from work and such. Now my 5th Gen doesn't have to get so many piles put on her. It'd be awesome to get a 5th Gen drop-top in addition to my coupe, but I can't afford two Camaros at the moment, so my drop top will just have to be this pile. It's not really that bad of a car, in my opinion, though. 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS-T. Has an 2.0L inline 4 cylinder, with factory turbo, supposedly good for 210 HP or so. With the 5-speed manual transmission, it's pretty quick. It's nowhere near as fast as my Camaro SS, though. All in all, I think it should be a fairly decent daily driver. |

Nice... however, it appears someone stole your passenger side skirt. Hope you got a discount!

LOL, no, no fart can mufflers for MY ride...
And, yeah, the passenger side skirt is missing. Got one on order right now. I did get the car at a good price, though. The bluebook value was around $6200 and I got it for $5000. Aside from the missing side skirt, it also has some pretty badly suffed and scratched paint, and one spot around the size of a quarter with a rust bubble under the paint. The convertible top has a tear on it, and I have a new top on order to replace that. Aside from that, though, it's a pretty solid car, and seems to be in exellent mechanical condition. If I couldn't have gotten it for $5k, though, I would've walked, though, but all the little stuff that needs to be fixed is all pretty much cosmetic. It's what I was looking for, though. A beater car to drive to work. But no, no ricer wings, fart cans, body kits, etc will EVER be on my car. I may (probably will) tune and tweak the engine/turbo/etc to give it more performance, but it will not be a ricer-mobile. |
