Hats off to Jannetty.
I want to convey my experience with this little shop to you. I'm not going to go into great detail, but I think Ted and crew deserves a You can call them up, and chat about a certain combination of parts, and they have the experience to point you in the right direction. His sales/shipping guy Kris tells you they have all of the parts, except X part, but will have it to ship in x days, and voila, parts ship as expected. They even marked the shipment racing/off road parts, and i wasnt charged Canadian duty on either of my orders by the border jackasses. Now i have to say that i have an automotive based company with accounts in usa at major warehouses, but i chose to pay retail, to invest in the right parts for my car. Ive never done that before.......and i wouldn't pick Ted's brain and buy wholesale, thats just dirty. Ted's concept of helping out with tunes that focus on the parts you buy from him was invaluable for me. I have tuned my silverado SS and escalade for mileage, and spent lots of time tuning the trans, but my experience with ls based engines stops there. i used to be a 4 banger blown/nitrous guy. For me, on the last car, i was the local innovator buying this part and that, and trying different combos, and going to the track. i was successful, but had to buy/sell many things to wind up at the final combo that rocked. With this camaro platform, the wife didn't want it to be a guinea pig, and i saw Ted's offer in early summer, for tuning/ parts. I have HPT Pro, so Ted sent me his config for logging,, and i sent him some data, he'd send a tune, couple tweaks, and we are close. After seeing substantial gains at the track, i put the car on a dyno, i hit 483 hp, 539 tq. with my L99. Some (like the dyno op) might say im a little low in HP, but i am keeping her a tad rich. My tq curve is over 500 ft lbs, from 2500-4500. A wise man once said HP sells cars, Torque wins races.. and i am going to stop in at that shop while in vegas for SEMA. I shall do the final tune next spring as i am sure more parts will be otw. Racing at 4500 ft on average (DA) blows, i gotta tow her to Mission Raceway in the spring for some good alt and air. Ted's just helping me be on the fast list under harsh conditions. Thanks Jannetty.
