had to make the swap

After a long discussion with my wife, not being crazy about the tight interior of the Camaro. And found the car to be a difficult daily driver....My wife and decided on a Challenger R/T Auto.
We test drove the Challenger R/T and the G37 Coupe (wife wanted me to get the G37). Anyways we found a compromise in the Challenger R/T.

I was able to swap the Camaro 1SS, for a Challenger R/T, some extras, and $2000 in Mopar bucks. And no extra money. Also got the MyGig radio and Bluetooth, which was not available on the 1SS.

I think they had a buyer already lined up for the Camaro.

I have always liked the look of the Challenger the best, and wanted more of a cruiser. But the Camaro SS is still the fastest car that I have ever owned...period.

Sometimes you think you got it, but after living with it, it isn't always the same. Glad you were able to swap into something that works better, without taking a hit on the $$--that always helps!

Best of luck & happy miles with the Challenger

Nice trade I test drove a challenger R/T last week and was very impressed, but I am still a die hard Camaro nut and like the Camaros a lot more, although just like your wife, my wife likes the Challenger too and that might still come into play here in the near future. It wasn't as fast as the Camaro SS but it was faster than the Camaro V6, I would put it into a happy medium category compared to the Camaros. I really liked the interior layout and all the room in the backseat and trunk as well. Yest it felt bigger than the Camaro but to me it did handle almost as well, if it weren't for the Chevy loyalty I have towards the Camaro then it would be a tough decision. You have a cool ride enjoy it, I will see you on the roads, i really like seeing all these retrorods on the road even the Fords for that matter, at least you gave the Camaro a shot.

Did a road trip with my friend in his Challenger to get a Panterra he had bought. Best ride of the big three, and a hell of a lot better than the Panterra.

I had a 2004 G35 coupe that I drove from Northern Virginia to Dallas Texas and it was murder!!!!!!!! Worst travelling car ever. Had to get out every 3-400 miles to stretch or my legs were gonna fall off!!
