I'm just glad there will be AC. Those of us in Texas tend to like that stuff.
Radio controls on steering wheel? Ha. We bought a new minivan this summer and my wife was remarking how we seemed to get every option except those steering wheel controls. A couple days later, while she was driving, she noticed something strange. Little bumps on the BACK of steering wheel. Radio controls. Sonofa... who reads manuals anymore? |

We did the same thing on our Kia Sorento. There's some controls on the front. But, I'm like...where's the volume on the steering wheel? There is none. Months later, my wife is like...what's this? Sure nuff...volume on the back of the steering wheel. Yeah. I might like to read those manuals a bit more. |

Buttons on the back of the steering wheel. what. That should be something that they tell you before you drive off the lot.
Thats like having the windshield washer fluid switch under the floormats |

Same thing when my mother bought an 02 or 03 chrysler 300m, I was driving it one day and was like HEY there are radio controls, on the back of the wheel?!?!
Before I saw the concept in person I wasnt too fond of the gauges, but when I saw it for real I thought they were sweet. They can be toned down a little bit but I think it would be a nice old school touch to have the gauges at least resemble the 69's gauges. |

I remember some people concerned about the production steering wheel looking like the one in the concept, due to airbag and saftey reasons. I had to post this picture of the production Mustang's wheel to show that; even if they make the center in ours a little bigger (for the airbags), and the billet emblem out of rubber(or that foam/leather stuff) it'll still look VERY close. Now, I've never been inside a Mustang long enough to determine if the driver airbag is on top of the dash, or actually in the wheel, but either way, it seems very possible to keep the steering wheel similar...

DEFINATELY love our Camaro's steering wheel... Not so much on the Stang's. Looks like the wheel itself isn't thick enough of the silver is offsetting it or... something.
Looks like it would be a bitch to accidentally squirt a little armorall on that Stang wheel and then drive to town... *Whoops*

I think the most insane thing (in a good way) that chevy should do is have a control swithch or something to change the big orange bar and four control things (not sure what those are) to a color of the driver's choosing to like mood ar souroundings or something, that would be wicked

I just want to be able to change the color of the lights on the instrument panel!
My vote goes with the white interior Grey Exterior + Grey cloth interior with white accents like above (if I HAVE to have either white or orange) + blue lights in instrument panel, etc.= SWEEEEET!

The Mustang has that color-changing technology in the Mustang...It would be fun to change the color of the bar...
