Chevy guy for life. I would not buy the car if it was from a different manufacturer.

There should probably be another option..."Only if GM built it."

There's four different opinions on this...the people who would only buy it as a Chevy, the people who would only buy it as a GM, the people who would only buy it as a GM, Ford, or Chrysler, and then the people who just don't care.

To answer your question I would say YES. I am not a brand loyalist, I base what i want by what speaks to me. Dodge, Ford, Chevy, they all make cars that I like.
The first paragraph sums up best what I was asking. Forget that there have been four previous generations of Camaro & chevy built them(I know lotta forgetting, bear with me). Say BMW or Audi or for that matter Ford builds the Camaro5. Everything's the same, exactly the same. Yes, the same price, would you still be driving that car? How important is the chevy/Camaro heritage? What's more important the end product or the fact that it's a chevy product? That's what I'm asking. Sorry, English is not my first language. Thx for bearing with me

Oh, I'm so going to get roasted...

I would gladly have bought this car if it had a blue oval on the back and prancing ponies on the sides!

I might have bought this car if it had a ram on it.

I don't think a European or Asian company would build this car.

Now, it if it had something to do with Australia I might be interested... ;-)

I'd only buy it if it was a Chevy/GM product. I've only owned Chevys and that's all I'll ever own.

#3. It could be a Kia and I still would've bought it if it looked this good and offered this performance for the price.

I say that only because my second option would definately have been a 2010 Trans Am, except those don't exist.

As for the American Made part... I feel that if I have the choice of American made vs. anything, I'll always choose Made in the USA. (yeah, yeah... Canada)
