ZL1's trap 125 stock on average. very few have trapped higher and that ones that have were likely at fast tracks. The few I seen that were higher ran at MIR or Cecil.

Everyone uses an app called Dragy but you need to buy some stuff to get it to work.

Buy this little device and then install the associated app on your phone. Then you’re good to go! Just stick it on the dash, floor it and it does the rest!

There is nothing else that is required. You simply charge the dragy, download the app, setup the timers, place it in your car, and run it. You can buy a phone mount and accessories if you want to take video of runs but it's not required.

I used a OBDLink MX+ bluetooth/GPS dongle and the associated app with performance measurements. I also used the onboard OEM timer on the 1/4 mile runs, where both times were within about a tenth of each other. So it's about as accurate as the onboard, but perhaps maybe not as accurate as a dragy (not really sure on that).

The DA was high but the air was cool (low 50s F if I recall), which certainly helped with MAT timing. Given GM claimed 11.4@127 mph for the A10, 129.2 mph with those couple of mods isn’t far fetched in cool air. I did multiple before and after slower speed runs (60-100) and the K&N+ported TB was definitely faster on every single pull in about the same conditions. I waited a few days and put on some miles before doing the after tests.
That's cool!
Hard to find many bone stock ZL1 60-130 times posts out there. I have noticed stock 60-130 range 7.6 to 8.5 on the Dragy leaderboards and even in crazy low DA. It looks like the ZL1 is actually more in line with the Redeye and definitely quicker than a standard Hellcat, at least to 130 mph.

There was definitely something up with my 2019 ZL1 a10. It never felt fast, like held back like or something pulling boost and timing. It ran smooth just not that fast. Almost like a hellcat running the black key lol. My 60-130 was around 9 sec. It was a nice car but I was so underwhelmed by the acceleration, I sold the car.

I have had lots new Camaros, Trans Ams, Corvettes, Even a new Mustang Cobra and 18 GT. I break my cars in hard right off the showroom floor! Never once had an issue and they always seemed faster than other guys cars that pampered them.
My good friend has a 18 Hellcat that cannot touch my 22 ZL1 A-10, (not even close)

Lol I believe this.
One issue that exacerbates the gap between a ZL1 is the Hellcat doesn't put the power down as well, especially from a 40 roll but 60 roll too on factory tires, especially if on all seasons. Even with the Hellcat running on a good sticky tire, I still believe the ZL1 is faster from a roll regardless... Redeye on a tire should be a better run from a roll.

I haven't had any problems dispatching hellcats with my RS3, but haven't run into one while in the zl1 yet. I'd be nervous at this point since I'm still trying to figure out how to get the most performance/traction with the manual trans. It's fun when I'm just out for a drive, but these last 5-10 years of excellent performing automatics has spoiled me

Nice garage you have there!
I had a Tesla M3P before my Plaid. Perfect for commuting imo
Ive been considering selling my Miata and getting a ZLE M6 for my weekend toy.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe I didn’t see that on the PDR.

These are both my cars. 97 mkiv supra @830whp vs 21 ZLE bone stock. Both are 6spd and I take my time on shifting in the supra so could probably shave a tenth if i wanted to chance damaging the tranny. I live in the mountains so the da sucks.
