Oil is pretty much oil..... but if your unable to do your own basic serving for whatever reason.... Please take your OWN oil filter to the Jiffy Lube.

Their filter is the biggest piece of chinese garbage they can source out and have mass produced for pennies.. It''s where they make their profit.

I'll be honest I don't believe it was from bad oil. Even the crappiest oil will protect well enough but I have a feeling maybe it wasn't changed at all. Just added to. Tell you a little story, I bought a used WS6 with 25k miles on it one owner leased the car. They took it back to their dealer for ALL service. When I bought it they had all the receipts for service showing oil change etc. When I got the car home started checking it over I found THE ENGINE oil HAD never BEEN CHANGED EVER! Only added to, it looked like someone took a dump inside the valve covers. So maybe your oil was never changed in the 1st place.

The dealers opinion is B.S.

The last AC Delco filter I bought was made in China-returned it and bought a Wix when I got home I found out it was made in China.
