Mine rides fine. It isn't a 74 Caddy but I took it on a trip a day trip to AC, 450 mile round trip, and I had no issues.

Having mismatched and non-brand tires on the car (which is what those probably are), along with potentially out of balance wheels, and given that those tires aren't even a name brand, I'd question about other things too now..

This is not normal at all, with proper tires and alignment it should drive like a very decent car. Tour mode makes you only hear bumps but not feel them, sport is stiffer, then in track mode you can actually sense them from the seat. I took several road trips with my wife, even kids, they never mentioned any ride issues. In fact, a few months ago I had another member with his wife take a ride in my car, because they were worried about the crappy ride they got on a dealership test car, they went back home happy and relieved. All in all you shouldn't give up or in, "just the way it drives" is bullshit, especially on an MRC car.

It’s been awhile since I had my 4th gen, I modded the suspension quite a bit to make it handle. That being said, this 1LE feels likes a Cadillac compared to that. This chasis is amazing and I’m a huge dude.

Shit tires probably made in China.
I run my MagRide in Track Mode on my SS 1LE and it is fine. Ride comfort is subjective but jeez.

I despise runflat tires. First thing I did with mine was get them off and replace them with Continental Extreme Contact DWS06s, all-seasons. This thing is my daily driver, winter included. The change in comfort level is astounding.
That said, there was already a huge difference in my 2024 2SS compared to my 2019 2.0T. The magnetic ride control swallows up the pot hole patches and expansion joints on my way to work very nicely, when in touring. My wife couldnt stand the ride in the 2.0T...she loves the 2SS.

I daily my 1LE, I know ride comfort is subjective but in Tour mode mine is as smooth as you could ask for in a M6 sports car.

The struts are shot and collapsed.
I was told specifically all these things were checked. There are also bigger issues that I am consulting an attorney about. The dealership willfully let us drive away with a car that was not safe. So no not insane I guess. All legitimate concerns I had. More to come someday. |

Really sounds like the issue isn't the car but the shoddy dealer/maintenance on the vehicle.
