HUD disappears?

This has happened twice so far at 2800 miles.

Start the car up only to notice the HUD is off? Shut car off and restart and it's back?

Any ideas? Do you think it's a dealer software update or something? I hate going to the dealer it's like an hour away.

That stinks, What are your brightness / location settings for it?

Other than that, disconnect the ground from the battery for a bit and come back to it, reconnect everything and see if it still happens. Sometimes they need a little nudge.

I have it set to full bright to see it in the sunlight. If I drive at night I turn it down. Location is just a tad above the dash for me.

It happened yesterday after sitting in the sun on a 90 degree day and I am pretty sure last time was a hot day also?

Look down at it through your dash, if you see a green tint your mirror may be out of wack and that means it has to go in for service, especially if you still have warranty on it
