Running warm
All summer long Twitch has been running warmer than normal. Nothing has been changed on the car, this is the third summer driving it but the first time seeing oil temperature above 220ish. Oil temp has never reached the 265 mark but consistently stays around 240-250 area. I'm running synthetic oil, so it's not really an issue. My concern and reason for posting is I'm wondering if the is a symptom of a potential issue? Maybe oil pump getting weak or something less serious like the gauge is malfunctioning? Just asking for some opinions.
Thanks in advance.

First step is ALWAYS a pressure check of the cooling system. If its not pressurized, it will reach temperature equilibrium at the boiling point of your coolant, which is higher than the boiling point of water.
